I honestly don't find it that bad because people where I live use it on a daily basis like it's nothing. But I've heard its not always a nice word to use. I still hate Perez Hilton, he has nothing better to do than hurt people.

perhaps it's different in the UK; f word is for sure not as bad as the n word here. I would never call someone the n word.

we call cigarettes "fags" lol. so to me it's NOT (lol missed that word out beofre) an offensive word in itself but when it's used as a shortcut to "faggot" it's a statement that may not mean much to us but affected a lot of gay men in the past. just like the n word - that rappers now use, the f word still offends some people even if it's used everywhere.

but you know, i'm not saying you shouldn't use it, i'm just saying that it can still be really offensive to people.

over here the full version is the offensive word "faggot" because if you call someone a fag it would be calling them a cigarette lol.

and yeah i agree with that. he shouldn't call people ugly, etc. unless he's more good-looking than them...
