I'm a model in the DC area (USA) and have been modeling independently. I'm interested in actually signing with an agency, though. I am 17 years old and I have pictures, however, I have braces. Will agencies be okay with this? I was considering waiting until they come off (which should be within the next 3 months).

If I don't have compcards, will I need to purchase them, or will my agency do that? Is it possible to sign with agencies in other states, even if I'm in DC?

I'd wait till your braces come off, in 3 months.
You can sign with any agency worldwide, afaik.
