yes and not only models i have 3 friends who don't want to be in the fashion industry but are annorexic as they think being that skinny is perfection. the body image of modeling does need to change, not too much as many models are naturally skinny but enough that girls aren't starving themselves to be 'perfect' |

yeah, so body image. so many young girls out there are pressured pretty badly to portray an unrealistic body image. |

i think superficiality influences anorexia and it contributes to the lack of diversity in the modeling industry. not to mention people wear fur because it's stylish/a mark of wealth, so that's superficial in a way. |

Fur is murder, and its actually pretty ugly in my eyes. At least like, eat the animal if your gonna use their fur or something. That's why I'm not so offended with leather. at least we eat the cows? |

Really. Don't waste it. At least then the price of meat won't be so high. And I'm pretty sure the cows they take the leather from aren't prepared for eating either. Wich is sad. A cow could feed quite a few people.... |

Really? so farms like... divide the cows?

No no.
They sell cows to meat companies and leather companies.
The ones sold to leather companies aren't packaged meat fterwards and the ones for meat don't get their hides used. Its just a big waste.. |

Thats like saying dairy cows don't make sense .... animals are used for different purposes on every level |
