Alexander McQueen of course.
But Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Prada & Miu Miu we're really good. I am alaways a fan of stockings and I just loved the coats and classic styling. The metal embellishments and colors at Miu Miu were very 60s/early 70s retro- my fave time period. And I'm always a fan of the granny look at Prada. |

Prada, Marni, and MJ fo sho... but unsurprising from me lol. Jil was nice, but not at its best.
i actually liked Gucci and Rodarte for a change omgadz. Missoni was v. coo, and Versus is outperforming its older sister, Kane did a great job with his own collection too
ahh im forgetting CK, that was one of the best...
overall v. good season imo
i still have to look through paris, but Balenciaga looks so awesome, as do Celine, Miu Miu, Dries, Kenzo, Akris, and LV lol...
i liked some of YSL tbh and A.F. Vandevosrt is A+ again
loving all the 70s-isms this season

in other news i am tired of Wang and Givenchy and Valentino, dnw to see them round these parts. even though i wouldnt compare givenchy to either one, its still miles better. im just bored... i still dont get Marant or Balmain either tbh |

Yes yes yes! Balmain is all hype now. Balmain go away, Christophe get some new inspiration bc youre clothes r starting to look cheap, like out of the bin at some halloween store cheap not slutty cheap, well yeal that too kinda.
Versace I am so disappointed. The main line looked like a crappy Versus collection. It had too much going on, I saw some Fall 09 Givenchy, mixed with some Balenciaga and tacky sparkle/fringe a la Balmain- dnw! Chanel was omg lol'able with the chewbaca outfits but it's Chanel so you know that shit will be all over the mags. |

Ia Bri with Haider Ackermann. He's really doing gorgeous stuff.
I was surprised with how much I loved MJ and LV! They were soft and gorgeous, especially MJ. Every piece was really beautiful.
McQueen of course was just stunning (more than stunning), Lanvin (loved how dark it was, plus the black wigs were really cool). I also liked Miu Miu (the more I see it, the more I like it, but last season was so much better) I also liked Prada a lot. Balenciaga was A+++ to me lol. Same with Gucci! Frida is really doing a great job, she's channeling Tom Ford's days, and that's always great. Calvin Klein was nice too!
Versace was really bad and a huge dissapointment. I have no words for Balmain, I'm over it really -_-. And seeing Nina Ricci makes me miss Olivier a lot. Same with Jil Sander, didn't love it as much as I loved other seasons.
I can't pick one show lol, and I'm probably forgetting a lot of shows I liked.
Like Wolfy said, it was a pretty good, solid season.
p.s: Marni too! Marni was great, def. top 10 for me. |
