I was severly ana and mia for about 7 years. At five feet tall, i weighed about 83 pounds, at my lowest.

i suppose im "cured" now
i dont make myself sick anymore, Havent fasted in years.

Although, of course weighing what i do now, i cant stand it. I was happiest with my body when i was sick. Even when people tell me that i look "so much better" now i dislike it--im "huge" compared to what i was and it is unpleasant. i'm not pro-ana...anymore, but i am pro skinny. I like a slightly emanciated look. ::shrugs:: i wouldnt encourage anyone else to do anything, or lose weight, or be extreme about it but some of us are predisposed to like the thin look. i dont think its "media brainwashing" as saome people say...not all of it anyway.

btw im 23 so you dont try and jump down my throat about what i say. im a grown woman. thankeee!

You say you wouldnt encourage anyone to emulate such behaviour yet you dont seem to realise the effect that your statement might have. Freedom of speech and expression and all of that but your statement is treading a very thin line between this topic staying and being deleted. This topic is for sensible discussion and by you saying you liked your body better when you are sick might just give someone incentive to continue on with what they are doing because it makes them feel good in their head while their body screams in pain.

Please, yes I'm a grown woman also, and I think as a grown woman you should be far more careful of what you say.

not everyone who is thin is sick.

And no person controls anothers actions.

sometimes if your story is too harrowing it's best to keep off of the internet also, i believe there to be a fine line between that which is appropriate to discuss and ... well that which is not Cool
