I have a friend who wanted to give his Model Search NYC a try. (She tried to do it my way but it didn't work out so this could be her second shot!) I was a bit suspicious and when I googled him some controversial things popped up. good and bad about his work. Anybody know about this guy? Apparently he discovered Quiana Grant.
thanks. |

It looks like modeling convention, but FREE? Usually IMTA or similar conventions are about $4000 for the contestants. My questions will be - which agencies are participating and it should be catch somewhere.
I saw in teen Vogue Celebrity Pink contest - tell your friend. This is with JJ Cortez (famous name in fashion) to win $100,000 modeling contract with Management First in NY. She can enter at www.celebpink.com |

I talked to my agent and she said although he's credible and not a scam, Dwight Agnor isn't necessarily reliable. thanks anyways. |

He looks scary, I wouldn't send my daughter to him.
| Quote: | | .... I was in attendance at Mr. Agnors ModelSearch NYC in Dearborn about a week ago. I too wanted to believe what Dwight and his assistant had to say so I decided to google Dwight Agnor as soon as I reached the nearest PC in my home. The first thing to pop up was DWIGHT AGNOR SCAM!!! His business has been reported 17 times by the BBB!!! NOT GOOD! I can't explain the assistance reason for wanting to participate so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and I phoned the agencies Mr. Agnor, his assistant, and even his website said was set to be at the Model Expo. Starting with Wilhelmina, I got a no that they will not be in Detroit in September or thereafter for a model expo. So I wanted further confirmation. I called 5 other agencies, all af them denied any affiliations with Mr. Agnor and/or ModelsearchNYC. Besides if you take a look at the top ten modeling agencies they ask for candid or snapshot photos. You don't have to pay for expensive photos. They want to see the real you. Take time and call the agencies yourself. Remember, you are there to make the agency money, not spend yours... |

I don't know if "rip-off report" is a credible website. Nevertheless, I advised my friend to find another way to model. thanks. |
