I would more likely believe doing something artistic like painting, scultping, or writing could improve one person's creativity. The photographers, fashion designers, and makeup artists are the creative people, not the models. Unless they actually have a say in what they want done, but I don't think that happens often.
So could someone who models or even knows a model please tell me how it improves their confidence. |
hi, im a model- ive only been doing it for 6 months but i love it, it does boost your confidence, you get your hair & makeup done, while shooting the photographer tells you how good you look, all the attention is on you. Its great, of course there are bad sides, but overall i think it does help build confidence. I think modeling - for kids should be atleast 12, cause the industry is brutal. |

Wow. If it was true confidence then why so many suicides? I think I'll go ahead and stick to my inital plan of building confidence with a sport or karate. Because I heard knowing you can kick someone's ass is a pretty good self esteem booster. For me being proud or confident about my looks is going in the wrong direction, seeing as how I did absolutely nothing to get them. Is there a way to have high self esteem in fashion but at the same time not fall into shallowness? |

that's why I asked if it's real confidence. How can one day you love yourself and then the next want to be dead? |

Next religiously use their child models, they are very good employers. the children they use look like normal children and it's not like the kids are out of school.
however, i still think it's wrong to tell a child that all that matters about them is their appearance. |
