The shoes are aimed at the consumers. And if she wants to ''Consume them'' Then so be it. She looks fierce anyways.
Hell, I know I won't be wearing pennyloafers or whatever the hell old people are ''supposed'' to wear.

I really think she's dressed fine for her age and I'll dress like that when I'm older aswell. And its not because I can't accept my age.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it really. She doesn't look out of place in those clothes. It's her character, an NYC fashionista. |

I think she looks great in the movie nothing was "too young" for her. Patricia Field is a Fashion genius.
However the dress that she wore for the MTV Movie Awards:

It just seems too young for her. I think it's the glittery material. Don't get me wrong her body is still young, she's still in great shape for the dress but her face is just a bit too mature for the outfit in my opinion. Maybe it's just me but that's the only outfit I've seen on her where I thought "it's too young for her". I wonder if she or a stylist picked it out for her.
And I loved all the outfits in the film! I will still be wearing stylish clothes and shoes like them when I'm older too. In fact for as long as I live  |
