I've read in different interviews with modeling agents saying that pictures taken at home are fine, along with minimal to no make-up on the person, and they expect the same (minimal to no make-up) going into an open call. However, I went in to an open call earlier this week and so many people wore make-up and had elaborate portfolios! I, on the other hand, I had two pictures printed off my printer, they were taken with my digital camera.
Would it make so much of a difference if I had a portfolio, too?
Is there a way to fake an au naturel look and still be considered?
I have blemishes on my face, acne scars even, yet I have beautiful skin, as an example. I did not blur these things out or Photoshop them out, because I thought agencies wanted to see a bare face.
I need a photographer! Who's in LA??? |
