At the risk of incurring the collective wrath of all the people posting on Fashion Forum, one thing I've noticed about many male models..
They don't look that sophisticated. They look a bit like boy band singers. This guy is a prime example. He's not exactly a man's man in looks, is he? I know he's handsome in a non-intimidating way perhaps - not that a man should look intimidating to be attractive but a lot of models don't say "sophisticated" to me. Perhaps the top female models can look more sophisticated than their male counterparts? Maybe some women have a natural elegance that most men lack? I guess the fact this guy acts the fool in some of the non-model shots doesn't help.
I don't know if that's a proper model photo but you get my point! |
