I just saw on the news that Petra Nemcova was injured by the recent tsunami in southeast Asia. She was vacationing in Thailand with her boyfriend and suffered a broken pelvis. Sadly, her boyfriend is missing. A very horrifying experience, indeed. To be sure this story was true, I Googled it, and came up with a few results. Here is one.....

Hi heather,
Such a sad ending to a pretty horrible year I'm afraid, dare one say that Petra Nemcova could consider herself one of the lucky ones!
The death toll is now approaching 120,000 and is very likely to exceed that figure. Naturally I hope that her boyfriend is found alive and well, it must have been a truly terrifying experience.
