So I heard the Asian market had particular standards (softer faces, less edgy girls..) ..If it is so, then why?
What are the differences between the western modelling world and Asia's? What can a model expect, working in Japan, HK, etc...?

There is alot and I mean ALOT of work in Asia whereas Newyork is a little crammed.

Well I think they have a thing for pale looking models, and with dark hair.

The girl from ANTM cycle 10, Allison did some modeling over there, did pretty good with her look. She got an Olay ad campaign, and did other modeling gigs in Asia.

Yeah I don't know the Asian model market, but thin and pale are considered very beautiful.

Plus, unlike America, Asia doesn't have the body-image issue since nearly everyone there is thin. Asians walk A LOT, have more intense school P.E., and are much healthier eaters. (I witnessed that first hand lol) Bigger girls probably have a better chance in America...

in the Philippines they whiten their skin because they want to be white/pale.
and they love Mistisas - which is the Filipino word for people who descend from the Philippines but also have at least one other ethnicity. Like me lol.
and their minimum height is 5ft 5ins. I've also been told that the perfect vital statistics that they see as sexy is 36-24-36.
