New Model Submissions

Hello! I have a couple of questions....

1) Sometimes when I submit a new model, it takes quite some time before her profile has a photo posted on it ("no photo available") Is this because you need to obtain permission from the source before you may post it on this site?

2) Sometimes when I submit a new model, I check afterwards to be sure a profile has been created with her name. When I check the next day, the profile no longer exists. Why?

Hi Heather,

Excuse me butting in here but I have some answers for you...

1) If you submit a picture to FMD, you should try to obtain permission for its use or failing that notify FMD as to its source.

2) I also noticed this when I submitted a model profile a while back. The profile appeared within a few days without a master image and barely any data, then promptly dissappeared. However a few days later the model's profile reappeared with her data and a master image eventually accompanied it.

Hi Deebee,

Thanks for the input. Whenever I submit a photo with the profile, it is almost always from the model agency which is referenced in the profile, so I guess I am not sure how much more specific I can be. Also, the URL to the pic usually gives the site from which I found the photo. Oh, well. What more can I do? Crying or Very sad

Hi Heather,

Hopefully it's just a matter of sitting tight and waiting, I'm sure that the FMD site administrators are only too pleased to add to their ever growing database of models. Keep checking the database and you'll probably find your model submission eventually appears.

yeah, latest model, 'carly sophia taylor' has no visisble photo. is this because one hasnt been uploaded or because it hasn't been approved yet?
