I'm I'm doing the math correctly, 159cm means you're about 5'2"-5'3" ... which is too short for fashion, even at 13.

You could still try commercial work, but unless you hit a growth spurt that shoots you up to 5'8" or taller you're going to have trouble getting into real fashion.

Hi vogue_barbie,

You're a very attractive girl, as to whether you'll make it big - only time will tell.
At 13 yrs of age normal height values are 1.45m to 1.68m with a mean of 1.57m, so you're currently just above the mean.

Hope you make it BIG!

Well, I know that I probably stopped growing at 14 or 15. I was 5.6 or 5.7 when I was your age and I haven't grown anymore Crying or Very sad I also don't know if I am model material because of my height, so thats the only thing that makes me say I dunno id u do or not. However, you have a gorgeous face and look very sophisticated while still being cute and looking young. If you can not make it into modeling, try commercials and acting. You are definetly very pretty Smile

Even if you were tall enough for fashion, I don't think you could work in the fashion market. You are young, so depending on how you mature I could see you in a commercial market. I suggest focusing on things other than modeling; develop other interests and do modeling for fun, for now. See what happens and how you change as you get older- I think you will only improve. But you will definitely not be doing high fashion with the look you have now.

That's harsh. You sure? Height is a problem, but designers like different looks. What qualifies you to say that so absolutely?

You have an awesome face, but unless you haven't hit puberty yet (had your period), you probably won't grow more than another 2-3 inches or so. (I was 5'6"/167 cm at age 13 and now at 22 I'm 5'8"/173 cm.) I'm sorry. Maybe you can model petite clothes or stay in a local market?

I did not mean that in a negative way. Commercial modeling is great. Most models who have done it for a while end up liking commercial far more because of higher rates and better treatment.
Of course I cannot be 100% sure; this industry is always unpredictable but I'm giving my professional opinion. I think every aspiring model needs to realize their niche. By all means, if she can find a good agency who is willing to push in that direction she can try but I think she would have a hard time finding a reputable one who would do that- at THIS point in time, remember. She can change very much at such a young age.
