Macy's Celebrating 150 Years With Commemorative Photos

New York, NY (CNS) - Macy's has always been up on fashion, and they will celebrate their 150th birthday celebration in a very fashionable way.

As part of their birthday celebration, they're letting some of their biggest stars shine in a series of commemorative photos shot by famed celebrity photographer Mark Seliger.

Each of five stars will represent one facet of Macy's. Christina Aguilera will embody the famous Flower Shows, Tommy Hilfiger is taking on the Fourth of July, Martha Stewart will personifying the holiday season, Donald Trump is heralding the Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Calvin Klein will represent the Macy's fashion portfolio.

Seliger, who has been one of the industry's most successful rock photographers for over 20 years, is happy to be creating the larger-than-life images that will appear this fall in Macy's stores across the country.

"It's been a privilege to collaborate with Macy's for its 150th anniversary," he says. "And to work with such great talent, like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, who are icons in the fashion world, Christina Aguilera, who is one of the most important voices in popular music, and Martha Stewart and Donald Trump, who are just about as much of American icons as you can get - next to Macy's of course."
