Yukon is a bit extreme, dear Callie. I live in Ontario. Canada is vastly spread out you know. In Europe you could drive two hours to another country whilst in Canada, you could drive 2 hours to come to andother town of 160 000 inhabitants xx
I love my Canada. |

I was joking about the Yukon it was the furthest I could get from Toronto, Ontario, once again I'm going to sound silly, but I'd love to go there, I kind of want to live in Canada but it is so hard to get in, thats why I was going to do a year of my degree in Canada, but decided not to. They apparently are better disposed to lettign you in if you've studied there I'm sad. As stupid as this may sound to some people I hate scotland ... sometimes |

I think you'd love Canada.
And we'd all love your accent (that is, if you have one) We're mind-boggled by them
As funny as it sounds I have ALWAYS since I was small, wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland, just to see my heritage. It seems so beautiful over there.
And I love te names over there too.
I've been told alot of English, Irish and Scottish people love Canadian accents. Is it true? I always wondered.... |

You thought of it first!
I love accents. I know that different accents come from different parts of England... I didn't know it applied to Scotland
Is it true you pick up accents the more you're around people?
(( I like how you spell Isobel, we'd probably spell it Isabelle, Isabell ect.. But I find yours is much prettier )) |

I do personally, I have a lot of english friends, but my sister ... you can take the girl out of Glasgow but you cant take the Glasgow out of the girl. All my family live in and around London and Birmingham ... or in Australia in Perth and Brisbane. They left for a reason as well lol. My ex boyfriend affected my accent big style so much so that when I came back for the holidays from Uni everyone was like where have you been Buckingham Palace, it can be hard for you if you are Glasweigan and you loose your accent, people think you are trying to be above yourself ... that just isnt allowed lol. Yet I sound a bit more Dame Maggie Smith than Billy Boyd say ... you know Pippin of LOTR fame.
Oh Isobel was my grandmothers name |
