CARACAS, VENEZUELA IS FAR FROM BEAING A FASHION CAPITAL. SINCE WE DONT HAVE SEASONS LIKE MOST COUNTRIES IT IS VERY HARD FOR VENEZUELAN DESIGNERS TO CREATE LIKE IT SHOULD BE.
HERE ARE SOME FASHION SHOWS FROM THIS WEEK
Reinaldo Villamizar fashion show
Giovanni Scutaro fashion show

Hi venezuelan, your post had immediately captured my attention! I'm really interested in fashion, and the unofficial events in particular (I mean, the events out of the official fashion calendar) ever catch my attention, like the Modalisboa - do you know? It's great!!
Anyway, I'm here because lately I'm very interesting in everything regards Venezuela, because my boyfriend is there for work...I'm in Italy, by the way. Thinking about my future, if may be I'll have to take a radical decision (easy to understand to what kind of I'm referring to), my dream is ever been to work in fashion's world, and getting to know that in Caracas there are a similar turmoil about it makes me smile a while..but as well a lot!! So I would to thank you very much, that's a great example of how a shared passion may be not just interesting, but helpful, hopeful & stimolating too. Yours, Gisi |
