Karl Lagerfeld and The Great Wall of China
one of the most amazing fashion shows
On October 19, 2007, Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi held a monumental fashion show. Why was it a monumental? Because it was held in a monumental and historic landmark, The Great Wall of china. 88 models walked a runway of 88 meters long (8 is the lucky number in China), showing an expanded version of Fendi’s spring-summer collection. Total cost? $ 10 million, and it took a year to plan this event.
