I remembered a few more things to know...
15. IMPORTANT!!! The model industry is a last minute business. By last minute I mean LAST MINUTE. If you are extremely busy (as I am with school and everything else so I don't always get potential opportunities) modeling will only be so much uglier. Most of the time, casting people don't care if you have school or rehearsal or whatever. You're either there or not.
16. If you get rejected, it's not always that you suck. Most commonly, you don't have the look they are going for. So don't be so hard on yourself.
17. Legit agencies will always take commissions. Usually 10%-20%. Don't trust internet agencies, I have never heard of any success stories through those.
18. If you ever go to a casting, dress clean and simple. I went to one today and saw a woman wearing this crazy mini dress with patterns and frills so you couldn't focus on her face or body, but on the dress. (dress stylish as well  )
