Heres My question for you foreigners!!,
Im a really good looking guy..not to be selfish or anything. I am having the Hardest time finding out how to model or get a carreer in modeling started...so being the keener i am i stumbled upon this website...read about half of what some people had to say and found that you all have had the same troubles i have had in finding a way out(modeling that is)I am an EXTREMELY talented musician/actor and have been doing it for a copious amount of years..years that are going by to quickly.....years i would like to have been doing nothing but having my body and face shot by a camera(now to those of you who are gonna reply to this in a rather disgusted manner or just to tell me im a narcistic,pigheaded,selfish guy well...cudos to you and thanks for the extra spark of determination!!.. plus who wants to put me down im canadian we love everyone!![ Very Happy

well first off, how tall are you?..(height is a very important thing if you want to be a fashion model) have you looked on the net for reputable agencies near your hometown..are you willing to travel to try your luck at modeling in different markets?
some of that info would help us help you...

First off...WOW.....someone replied das kewl...so i guess u wanna know what i look like eh melissa!!...you think im a sexy beast eh!! hahaha
just playin dont freak out now!....ok here ya go love...6ft'2 180lb's medium athelitic build(meaning cut) i have shaggy blonde/brown hair i have baby blue eyes and a beautiful complexion(i knwo it might look spelt wrong but thats a kewl way to spell it eh!!) so anything else u wanna know just hit me on the flip side mel!!

[:p] lol..and it sounds like you have a nice look too..so get your happy booty on down to some agencies and show them what you got..sittin at home isnt gonna help..if you travel to NYC often check the agencies out here too ! always boasting about my agency (Request), they're great..check them out as well. if you need any help searching, i'll be glad to help!

Bonjour guys!!,
WEll let me just start off by saying thanks a million and yeah i do seem pretty self-assured...but its the only thing i can do to stay on top of my goal EH!! Now mr. or mrs.fish heheh that sounds cool i hnave checked out those places but well heres something you guys should probably i dont have a car to get to these places or cashola!! to get on a plane and go to NEw york ya knwo eh!.......what i basically have been doing is like trying to do it online and then they'll be able to send for me to go down and bla bla bla you guys know the rest....so heres my question...Do i have a chance of getting noticed on-line or would it better for me to go to some places....now remember i live in the Armpit of canada!!!!!
anything you guys could do to help the next AE model or maybe even like Old Navy maybe they wouldlike my shaggy hair!!...anyway guys help me out as much as ya can and i wont forget any of you that help me!!!!

Good news: you don't actually need to go see agencies since most of them accept mail or even e-mail submissions of pics. Just browse around websites of agencies to find out where to send the stuff. They'll prolly want a couple good snapshots of you, your measurements (height, chest, waist, hips, suit size, shoe size), and contact info. If you've got the right look, they WILL get in touch with you and work with you! But I wouldn't even think about contacting Old Navy or anything on my own, cuz that's like impossible--you'd never get anywhere that way.

hahah thanks for your concern catia(das a kewl name!!) heres a quickie for ya ...do you model??.....cause if you do maybe you could help a fellow model out!!! and where the hell is mira and the other high tops i called them out and they didnt answer!!!!ohhhhhhhh guess they cant handle a Canadian!!! haha just teasing guys i just got ahold of some agency today in TO called Blitz Models........ wanna giimme some backs on them they told me i would have to move to the big stink in order to get anywhere which i think is a load of ****ty ****

WHy don't you try emailing your photos and stats to one of the major agencies? Like Elite? They have offices in NY, LA, Miami, Toronto, Paris, etc and they send scouts all across Canada? And you can email in your photos to scoutcanada@elitemodel.com

They are great!!
