lets say that i am recruied in a local model agency what chances do i have to make an international career?

well if it's an agency and not a modeling school (because there is a huge difference) you could have a chance..there's always a chance. A lot of times if you start with a small agency and build up a bit of a portfolio you could take it to a bigger agency and further your career.

I got into modeling because I was 'in the right place at the right time', and have tried not to take it too seriously. But I do LOVE the process and the art and working with awesome photographers. The problem now is that I need to find some representation/legitimate work, because I am tired of getting so many emails and offers for TFP work or crappy soft core style cliche. I dont really want to spend all of my time weeding out the creepos from ModelMayhem or OneModelPlace.
So I guess just start mailing people my photos?

I don't really fit anyones definition of a model (i dont look like a 6 foot tall clothes hanger). but I do get a ton of jobs, there has to be an agent out there for me.

I knew someone that worked in a mall and signed people up to be 'models' and stuff, it looked like a gimick.
