Hi fashion friends,
Regarding the photo above...
You have to make a little allowance for the effects of perspective as Tiiu Kuik is closer to the camera. If you look at the background at the level of the top of the model's heads you will see my point, however even taking this into account I would conjecture that Tiiu is at least an inch taller than Hana Soukupova, which would bring her height to a minimum of 6' and half an inch.
Eugenia Volodina is reckoned to stand 5' 11" and so is a half inch shorter than Hana, in the photo Hana appears only a little taller than Eugenia, but Tiiu appears significantly taller than Hana. By the evidence of the photograph and taking the published heights of both Hana and Eugenia as correct I would estimate that Tiiu Kuik's height is about 6' 1" (1.85m).

I thought oluchi onweagba...who i dont think is on your site..is taller....as for the tiiu/hana thing...yes, hana does look shorter than tiiu, but their agencies list them both as 5'11" (hana is with dna/tiiu is with major). oluchi is 6'1", and Michelle buswell is 6' but looks crazy tall in her fashion shows... |

Personally I don't think agencies measure them up quite accurately (that's because, I suppose, most designers prefer models within a certain given range of height, I'd say 5'8"/9" - 6'0"/1": if a model is shorter or taller may have a hard time to get to work on the catwalk, although there are and there have been some exceptions). |
