Hi fashion friends,
Good news - Rumours are abroad that Fashion TV may make a comeback onto the UK Sky TV package shortly.
Not so good news - It seems that should they return they will be an encrypted subscription only channel.

do you think that fashion TV shows what its really like to be a model or designer? i find it rather boring and think that their cut and paste editing undermines the models they interview. |

My girlfriend and me were in Rhodes in September and FTV was about the only thing we wathed. It's cool at first, but I think the put too much stress on flashy filmwork and stuff (which makes it look cheap) and there's waaay too much fuss about their fashionTV boat (the F-Diamond).
Loads of girls contstantly telling you how much they LOVE FashionTV..
You grow tired of the whole thing quite fast.
The only reason why they can stay in the market is because they're the only ones in the market..
Oh and when I said I'm paying for FashionTV, I meant that I'm paying to see Prime and it came with the package.
It's a good concept, but they should get more interviews, and visualise everything better. A little bit more diversity would make it so much more interesting. |
