I've heard that models with oval faces and very accentuated cheekbones are more or less the norm. Does someone with a longer face even have a chance at all?

Hmmm...in a way you're right of course. Most of the models look more or less the way you described it - but in the end I think there are no special criteria you have to fulfill for becoming a model. You know, when you got that special thing, there should be nothing that could keep you away from modelling.

The first supermodel with a longer face that comes to my mind is Raquel Zimmermann.

I don't think face shape really matters. Tons of models have different face shapes. Gemma Ward and Lily Cole have extremely round faces. And then others like Ikeliene Stange have narrow, long faces. It's the way you look, not the way your face shape is.
