Well, apparently her modeling career wasn't very successful, which is why i assume she moved on to beauty pageants, as a last resort. It would be a different story if she began in beauty pageants and then moved on to modeling. Good luck to her!  |

After pageant, the road to high fashion modeling is closed forever! I think if she wanted to be a model, she shouldn't sign for Miss Universe. Now her modeling career will be jeans ads or something similar that winners usually do. But since she chose this road, I guess she knew what she is doing. |

Yeah high fashion and beauty paegants don't mix. She could do Victorias Secret and some lingerie modeling. |

I guess that modeling and beauty pageants dont mix. But I saw on TV that starting this year Miss Universe organization will make the winners go to model castings. So I guess they are trying to chance their image and Dayana is the experiment. She will now be part of www.trumpmodels.com and she is still with Elite and Name Models.
I really hope she can be the first Miss Universe model and break those rules that beauty pageants and modeling dont mix. |
