Do you guys ever feel guilty?

I mean sometimes the things you guys write are so....cruel. I know it's all gossip, but I think some of you guys don't realize that these are people too, and that they have feelings. Actually, I'm gonna go ahead and say it.

I think that some people think that just because someone is behind a camera all the time, celebrities and models, that it's okay to talk about them as if they aren't human. I mean look at Britney Spears shaving her hair off. I really do think that certain people on this board, who I won't mention, forget that these are human beings too.

That's why I try and be generally careful of what I say. I guess, I don't think Britney is reading these forums, but I wouldn't be excessively cruel. And I guess, if I felt guilt over gossip, I would be back at the Animal Humane society with the kitties.

I think it's worse on a lot of gossip blogs comment boards, just as well. I think everyone with half a brain realizes that these men and women are humans, just as we are; however in a glaring light. Is there anything in particular you’re worried about here?

does anybody who reads that stuff really take it personally? lol, it's a pile of shit, if i read stuff about me i'd laugh, it's all ridiculous. People take themselves far too seriously, if it gets personal then it's up to the person saying it to know they have gone too far. But then none of it is personal because they don't know anyone that they are talking about Laughing

i think you go too far with Karlie, but then you know, she's a big girl she should know it's all a pile of shit anyway, and nothing ACTUALLY against her personally, because you don't know her Jose, i wouldn't feel guilty if i were you.

I try not to say too many bad things about other celebrites, But models - their job is to look good, of course they are gonna get critisced, they are in an industry based on their looks- if they arn't thick skinned , they are just gnna crumble.

I do. I mean this is just my view but I try my best not to speak badly about models. If I don't like a certain model, I won't post in her thread. But if I see a model with an unhealthy image being hired for many jobs, increasing exposure of her unhealthy image, then I have no problem speaking up about it. That's one thing I love about FMD- we're definitely not a thinspiration site.

What got me to make this topic was because I just saw pics of Gemma Ward with the extra weight. Yes, I know I'm late. But I read so many people's comments about her being a "fat cow" or "disgusting pig" and it really hurt because I'm a Gemma fan. And though it was strange seeing her so much bigger, somehow she became more human to me. Also, I saw a picture of Agnyss and her legs were terribly scratched up. Seeing their flaws made them seem more human, and I felt guilty for not seeing them like that the first time. I never said anything bad about a celebrity, at least not based on their looks, or clothing. Only if they act disgusting, like "leaking" their pornos out once a week.

I remember posting the pics that I saw on a weight website (where the woman who writes is very respectful, IMO). And when I posted them here, I believe everyone said she looked good and hoped her life would only go up the mountain. Smile

on here???? did people actually say that stuff with a straight face? i can't remember reading anything like that here about Gemma. if it was said it was said by our resident piss taker Edwac.
