hannacle, you're very pretty, but I think if you show those pics to any serious fashion agency they'll probably point you in the maxim/playboy section. It's not that I don't think you can do other, it's just the pictures you took are probably exactly what they look like in those kind of magazines. While Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, or any serious fashion magazine don't have pictures like that. You should post some pics of you without makeup and just in white shirt and jeans. I know that sounds very plain, but that way, we can see if your face is versatile. which is a must for models. |

It has been a long time since hannacaul trusted to ask for an opinion, and I know she said 'criticism welcome', but I don't think the response she elicited was what what she was hoping for. She has never posted since, and I can't say I blame her.
When I first saw her pictures, I thought 'thank goodness - someone who doesn't look like a stick insect !'. and I hope she didn't abandon her dream because of people who really ought to know better.
To Hanna I would say - keep on trying, as every photo-shoot is an opportunity to try new poses/styles/ideas, and you will get much more versatile with practice, experience and maturity. I hope you have not given up, and good luck. |
