Not sure if she's the right type of model to inquire about here, and unfortunately I don't have a pic (yet), but anyone possibly know who the stunningly pretty brunette is on the (front) cover of the new April '10 issue of Brides magazine? She looks somewhat familiar - as if I've probably seen her before somewhere. Any attempt(s)/effort(s) to help will be well-appreciated - thanks, as always.

Over the weekend, I tried e-mailing the people at Brides mag to ask them who the model is, and I received a reply on Monday from someone named Jackie Lebowitz, who is assistant to the editor-in-chief, but apparently all she was able to tell me is that the model is from Ford Models in NYC. I suppose that probably won't help me much, if at all. Or could it? Again, any attempt(s)/effort(s) to help will be well-appreciated, as always - thanks.

asha leo, this is the closest pic from FMD that matches the Brides cover, modelwerk has one that's a little closer. in most of the pics here she doesn't look like this, her face isn't as angular and nose is rounder in appearance. could be her.

I think her nose is different. Here are links to Asha at Modelwerk. The nose and the dimples are too close for it not to be her.

Great call fletch!

Spent some time in Asha's books today; I did not know she was British!! Also it seems like about a week to maybe a year since she broke in, cuz she looks so damn young!

All things being equal, given her books and the pic's you provided she looks like a lock to me Very Happy

It is not that uncommon for folks to give agency advices via email. I thought I saw her at Ford NY, but upon further review Modelwerk, Nevs, and another European agency sunk it. Cheers!!

Thanks very much - especially to Fletch. She's definitely not Fernanda Brandão (thanks anyway for the suggestion, though), but after having checked out as many pics of Asha Leo that I could find on the 'Net thus far, I think the brunette model in question has to be Asha - I'd be quite surprised if she weren't. And even in the strong unlikelihood that Asha isn't the one on the cover of Brides mag, Asha herself is a hell of an excellent discovery - esp. since they look so similar. Anyway, everything is greatly appreciated - again, thanks so much. Very Happy

As a bit of confirmation, or at least further corroborating evidence, that Asha Leo is in fact the model in question, I e-mailed the people at Brides mag again last week, and although Jackie Lebowitz, the assistant to the editor-in-chief, replied to say that she wasn't allowed to give confirmation, she certainly didn't deny in any way at all that the model is indeed Asha. Then I called Ford Models in NYC, and found out that Asha Leo is in fact one of their models.
