Hi Mira, could you please post a list of reputable agencies in Belgium and Holland?
Also, on what criteria are the ratings based?
I would be very glad if you could help me out, as i'm a member of a small models-forum where tons of youngsters surface, blinded by promises of wealth and glamour by malafide representatives of so-called model agencies which in fact are nothing more than scams.
Konwing which are the established offices could help a lot of young adolescents.

To specify my question about the ratings (not really directed at Mira, but more at the person who rated the agencies):
The ratings I was referring to are the ones on the site, where every agency listed receives a rating from 1 to 3. eg. Ford Models: 1, but Aria Models: 3.
Obviously, I'm more interested in how these ratings apply to the Belgian agencies. Why are Vision by Steff and Dominique models rated with a 2, and New Models and Modelsoffice with a 3?
On what criteria are the ratings based?
The name of my forum:
It's the forum of a democratic (as it allows both amateurs and pros) Belgium-based modeling community which brings brings together about 1100 models, 650 photographers and 70 make-up artists. The site is www.photograaf.be, the direct link to the forum is http://forum.photograaf.be, though you have to be registered to be able to access it. The primary language is obviously Dutch, though English is also accepted.

First level (International)
Top agency or management working on an international network with worldwide offices and/or affiliated agencies.
Minimum presence of 15 years or more and a considerable market share required.
Second level
International subagency/subsidiary of a first level management or
National agency with a minimum presence of 5 years or more.
Third level (National)
National agency with a minimum presence of 3 years (36 months).
Not Classified (NC)
Not classified agency with less than 36 months of presence or
unratable agency.
Actually the classifications are outdated but we plan to revise the entire list and introduce an additional certification including scam-warnings.
