History
The Top Model of the World is an international Search for the ultimate model who is independent, talented and fashion conscious. It started in 1993 in Miami hold by the Globana Group. In 1993 the competition was shift to Germany and in 2005 it was held for its very first time in Asia, in China. In a spectacular open Air Show, the Final of 2005 Top Model of the World found place in the Humen Park with over 10,000 viewers.
The Final was the conclusion of the annual HICC Fashion Week.
The event was live broadcasted with over 360 Mio Viewers worldwide.

2006 was the 14th anniversary of Top Model of the World.

The competition took place in the Stadion of Kunming in the Village Resort. 4000 people were live attending and Million of viewers have watched the pageant on Television.

Soon we will announce date and place of 2007 Top Model of the World Final.

How old is the competition?
A: The Top Model of the World ® competition was held 1993 for the first time and will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2008. It started all in Miami.

Are the events held in a different place each year?
A: Not really althought it was held many years in Germany we moved last year for the very first time to China. Also 2006 the pageant will take place in China.

How is the Host Country chosen?
A: WBO officials are working throughout the year with interested companies, agencies or city governments. The city or country offering the optimal venue and the best support to the WBO Organization will be chosen.

How many women compete in Top Model of the World?
A: There can be up to 60 delegates to participate in the competition.

What requirements a delegates must meet?
A: A delegate must be at least 18 years of age and under 25 years of age. She must be unmarried and have not given birth to any child.

Are delegates allowed to have cosmetic surgery?
A: We usually appreciate the own natural beauty of each delegate. However there are no restrictions on cosmetic surgeries. The modern time makes it impossible to enforce such a law or rule.

How is the winner chosen?
A: All delegates are judged in two areas of preliminary competition: 2. Swimsuit Competition 3. Evening Gown Competition The scores of the swimsuit and evening gown competition are entered into a computer. The delegate with the highest score is the winner. The following ones are the

What prizes do the winners receive?
A: Each Titleholder is awarded cash and prizes from the event's official sponsors as well as a modeling contract.

I know what you mean. Alot of girls will do anything to get into competitions like this. Trust me lol I've had some strange experiences. Well it wasn't me of course but a couple of children, parents and I were subjected to worse than the Belarussian. Laughing

I laugh when I think of it now.

They may think they look good but fact is, they looking sticky and not an Erin Wasson kind of sticky. More like a "I was rolling around in dirt and tar all day," sticky.
