Where are the finer places to get Avatars? I see some users already have some; yet, the sites I'm visiting have rubbish!
No hurry, just when you have an opportunity. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Onemorecup,
I don't know if you are after an image of a model or a symbolic avatar, but mine is just an image downloaded from a web site and reduced to the allowable size and pixel count using a photo editing program. I haven't looked for avatars as such, I may have a quick search and if I find anything good I'll let you know.

Hi deebee,
Actually I was wondering if one could do a web capture and edit it to the appropriate size; now, thanks to you, I have the answer. About the avatars themselves---I have found loads of sites for them---albeit for clubs, groups, individuals, or even the religious connotations from apparently where they got their start (Hindu icons and symbols).
I just see all these really cool looking images and wondering, "where did they get that?" Thank you indeed for your kindness. Do have a lovely weekend, yet, somehow I think we'll probably be Id'ing or something by then! Thanks again deebee!

Hi Onemorecup,
I love your avatar, isn't it the "diamond ring" of a total solar eclipse?
Best Wishes,

Yep! You got it; it is indeed the diamond ring image from the full solar eclipse. Have you ever seen one? The first one I saw I just totally reflected on what the ancients must have thought. Oops! There goes another virgin sacrifice
Anyway thank you for the compliment. I guess we all need that validation to let us (me) know that it looks okay. You are a very nice person! I just wish I could have sized it better. Yikes!
Have you seen anything on the fashion shows in India? From what I have seen, simply marvelous! Right then, gotta bounce....thanx again! |

Sadly, I have never seen a total solar eclipse, as I live in the UK we are very rarely blessed with this extraordinary natural phenomenon. There was one visible at the very tip of Cornwall in 1999, which unluckily was cloudy out. I shall have to arrange a visit some day abroad to coincide with such an event.
I haven't seen anything of the Indian fashion shows either (I must get out more!) I shall keep my eyes open for those.
Kind Regards,
