Avatar size

Hey Markus,

I am hoping that somewhere between you and alx, you would be able to help me with sizing the avatar I selected to use. I realize that our rules are that avatars should be 90x90 however, when I got it I really had no way of sizing it. Come to think of it, I still don't know how to size it!

Anyway, hope you folks can do it. If not, it's fine with me the way it is Laughing

Hi Onemorecup,

Sorry to jump in here, but if you have Microsoft's 'Photo Editor' program (part of Microsoft Office) you can load the image and go to the drop down menu option 'image' and select 'resize...'. Using this option you can choose to re-scale the image in pixels, cm's or inches. If you also select the 'ruler' option from the drop down 'view' menu you can actually re-size the image to exactly fit your requirements. Hope this helps.

Please accept my apologies; I had no idea that you are as tech savvy as you are. Heck, I could have just made it personal and wrote directly to you. Smile

Actually, I do have the entire MS Office programs; I guess it's time to get aquainted with PhotoSuite. This, for sure will be of personal interest only, insofar as those who have seen the avatar like it the way it is.

Right then....I don't do this often enough for my own good, but here I go or else I'll go crazy. Embarassed

Have you been to http://www.bwgreyscale.com? If so, could you go to the ID page and have a look at Glamour (US) shot by Walter Chin? As for me, the model looks a fair bit like the combination of Ben and Malagosia Bela! This one's got me in circles! Maybe if someone looks from a different perspective I can learn and get back on track.

Zyana is one of, if not the best Id'er these days. Then again, so are Paolo, Fabrizio, and Jolie/rosie from Australia. However, these aforementioned have seen the ed. and still no musings from anyone. Ahhhh, give it a go!

I don't know about 'tech savvy', but I get by. I went to the site you have a link for and found the glamour/model shots, but sad to say I couldn't recognise any of them. I'm none too good at identifying models, I even posted an ID for a model which was later identified as Anastassia Khozissova, by Zyana, and Anastassia is one of my favourite models and was also in my favourites list on this site! Embarassed

I live about 30 miles north of London (20-25 mins by train).
