Attention: Model wanna-be's

I want most of you girls and guys who come on here asking for our opinion to know that people on here are not professionals. Our opinion shouldn't make a difference to you. It should not hurt your self esteem or confidence or make you feel any less beautiful. All of you who have posted pictures of yourselves on here asking if you could be a model, are all beautiful in your own unique way. Just because one of us doesn't think you can be a model, doesn't mean an agency would think the same thing. We simply don't know. And we are judging a picture that is either taken by yourselves, a mirror shot, or a bad quality picture. We don't know what you look like in real life and judging from poor qualitied cameras or shots taken by yourself is unfair for us to judge. My advice is for anyone who wants to be a model and has some hope in themselves that they may have a chance, is to just go to an agency. We are just average boys and girls who love fashion. Don't take our replies and advice personally. There are some models out there in the industry who I question why they are even models. But then these are models who are signed with the best agencies in the world. So obviously, they really are models who have the look, it's just that I don't see it. And my opinion means nothing if they are signed with agencies. And also, even if you do go to an agency and they turn you down, don't be heart broken. There is so much more to life than walking down a runway or posing in front of a camera. Don't make wanting to become a model your life. People don't realize that these girls who are models are consantely feeling pressure and are always criticized for something. Plus, most models careers are over with at the age of 25. No more catwalk shows, less and less editiorial work. Wouldn't you want to always be considered a beautiful person in a normal world with a job that you can have until you are old enough to retire? I'd much rather have that than be a beautiful person who is constantely feeling stress and pressure who's career is going to be over with within 10 years or less. Just be happy that you're a gorgeous person with a nice body. That should be enough for everybody. Smile

Thanks! I just feel like our advice to the people who wanna be models can really hurt them, and I wouldn't want to do that since we don't really know what we're talking about in terms of signing someone to an agency. Razz

Hah, I'd love to see pictures of the people who do the name calling. They are probably hideous as fuck which is why they are hiding behind a computer screen judging peoples pictrues. Hmm. Maybe I should go on there and give them a piece of my mind. Laughing
