Is she wearing contacts? Overall, she is very beautiful for Indian woman.
Though my favorite of all Indian actresses is Hema Malini (even though she is old now) |

She looks different. I watched many many Indian movies and never saw green or blue eyes actress. That one big difference. |

All movies with her have British influence. They shot there, etc. I heard that Bombay studios don't like her. All traditional Indian movies don't show even kissing of main characters, they are so innocent. It is cultural I guess thing. My favorite of all is Zita and Ghita with Hema Malini and Dharmendra. |

This look for an Indian woman is a fantasy. the lengths that some women in this culture go to to appear more socially acceptable, i.e bleaching of the skin, wearing eye contacts etc, is completely unacceptable. I hate how they turn Aishwarya's eyes blue. it is no doubting she is coming from an upperclass family as this is the wealthy 'look' in India ... and it's sad people are beautiful the way they are. Thats why I love Lakshmi Menon among other indian women and models who celebrate the beauty which is their own and isnt contrived to be more acceptable |
