I am so tired of Eva Longoria on Covers grr. Also she is only 5"2. After a while everything is redundant. |

I soooooo know what you mean about Eva Longoria, her and Sienna Miller argh, talk about everywhere. Plus I kind of worry about Eva she is so tiny it is more worrying for someone 5ft 2 to have a 23 inch waist (I'm sure she's a size zero, if I'm wrong feel free to correct me) than it is for a girl who is 5ft 8-11, you know what I mean, very worrying indeed.
And I just bought British Vogue ... but very nearly didnt with blooming Sienna Miller on the front cover and them hailing her as some sort of glamour icon ... do me a favour I read that magazine and some of the editorials were amazing and Lily Cole and Sasha Pivovarova looked so much more glamorous than that bleach blonde waste ... sorry she really annoys me |

I prefer models. Fashion models belong on fashion magazines.
Although, their are some very fashionable actresses out there who do deserve a spot on the cover of a fashion magazine. Example: Mary Kate/Ashley Olsen, Sienna Miller, Kiera Knightley, Scarlett Johannsen.. these girls have fashion sense and are beautiful. |

I choose for models! Models are representing a certain look for the moment and the image of the magazine, it leaves place for creativity - celebrities only represent themselves and a mainstreem thinking. The cover-actress number one in Belgium is, i think, Angelina Jolie and Scarlet Johansson |

i was in a newsagency the other day.. and every single magazine.. has a celeb on them... not a single model on any cover... (we're talking uk here)
this angered me.. a lot hehe
but a models job it to model.. and actors job is to act.. so why are the celebs taking all the work? leaving the models with..none

Thats true, the main thing thats annoyed me this christmas is the perfume ads ... so many celebrities have their own perfume out I get confused when I see Hilary Swank and Kate Winslet promotoing fashion houses perfumes and then Kate Moss promoting her own ... its probably the only way she could become the face of a perfume brand in these times. I hate celebrities taking the jobs it's not really all that fair. Bring back the supermodel!!! Hilary Rhoda and Julia Stegner could beat Kiera Knightley and Sienna Miller any day lol, enough already! |

Both, in my opinion.
As long as they aren't Nicole Kidman, Gisele Bundchen, Scarlett Johannson (annoying lips & face, for me)
Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron (omg, she annoys the hell out of me), Sarah Jessica Parker (her face is weird), or the Olsen Twins... ugh,
Mary-Kate & Ashley look so much more prettier when they smile instead of that stupid pout they always do...!!
People like Natalie Portman and Sienna Miller deserve it. They're stunning! (: |

Anna Wintour started the trend for putting actresses on the front of fashion magazines in the early nineties. I definately think it's quite boring and repetitive. Every time I see an actress do a cover and a model try to act it only reinforces why models should model and actress act. They never put an actress in avant-garde couture clothes they always have very 'girl next door' shoots and I can get that in a gossip rag so it's not what I want from a fashion magazine. |
