I'm totally rooting for Korea as of now, and loved the opening ceremony! Anybody else here a fan of the Olympics? What country are you rooting for? Who are some of your fav athletes? |

Oh I wonder what country I'm rooting for hahahaahahahahahaha
And I love it
today was a bad day in the gymnastics ... we nearly qualified for the womens group event ... damn ... but finishing 9th is a good result none the less and we won our first gold in the cycling. |

it's not in the 'Olympic Spirit'
BUT ... the problem is when the Olympics begin journalists have to be free to go about the country and talk to whoever they want to ... and China just doesnt facilitate that. |

Oh no, why?
I absolutely LOVED the 400meter freestyle swim competition. As a biased fan, Park just whopped everybody's butt by at a second from Zhang Lin (who's very cute!) Park was like a whale... not a whale more like.. a dolphin. He was just going okay, than BAM after 200 meters he went all speedo on us. awesome!
The American who won third was very good sportsmanship! Americans tend to be part of the nicer ones in sports. (Even though I'm American I do think that's true.)
and the murder stabbing was a total shame. |
